Sid the Science Kid Returns for Season 2 (Giveaway) – Closed

Yippee! Sid the Science Kid, the award-winning, educational television series from the Jim Henson Studios is back for its second season with 12 new episodes starting this week!

It is no secret here on my site that my family is a huge fan of Sid the Science Kid!  In fact we even had a screening part to kick of the new season. If you are new to Sid the Science Kid, the show introduces preschoolers to the basics of science through the eyes of a young science reporter named Sid, and it is such a fun way to educate without little ones even realizing it!  Each episode begins with a new question and Sid embarks on a fun day of adventures filled with singing and dancing.

The fall season features episodes where Sid and his pals leave the classroom for field trips to visit their local science center. New segments explore science concepts including Force and Motion, Systems and Interactions and Lights and Shadows. Sid, the show’s energetic and inquisitive preschool star, enlists his friends and family to help him get to the bottom of new mysteries. He begins each episode with a new question and spends a fun-filled day finding answers.

The sing and dancing is a huge hit in our house! I just hope no one ever catches it on camera! Now that would be embarrassing!
