Plant With Your Kids Worry Free

A couple years ago my kids started a vegetable garden with their Nana. The garden is a source of some very yummy veggies! It is also a great way for them to get outside and away from the t.v. I can not explain to you how proud my boys are when they site down to a meal and THEIR veggies are on the table for the family to enjoy. I must admit though that I did freak out a bit when I saw them using pestisides on the veggies. I really wanted a “worry free” solution to our pest problem.

    I do have a garden and I have been working a lot on it this year! I have a lot of perennial flowers and tomatoes. Cherry tomatoes since it isn’t so warm at the Oregon coast. I have a lot of seeds that I have started and am moving things around. I have some raspberries too. I have slugs too so I use slugs bait and they never seem to stop coming though!!!

    Yes we have a garden, but we were not allow to plant “new” plants this year because the City restricted all water (even in swimming-pools, car washes, ect.) due to the fires here in New Mexico. I so wanted my fresh veggies!
