Organization is HUGE in our home! My husband travels, and our son goes to school 2 days a week. I am also actively involved in activities at school. We live away from our families, so we always need to know when they are coming to visit. We need to know where everyone is and what is going on…we have a calendar in our kitchen and everyone has their own color. This allows us to know what our upcoming month/week looks like. I would love a calendar in my purse. Although I use my phone for alarms and alerts, I am still “old school” and like to see it on paper.

I need to be super organized! I have 4 children, 2 with autism and one with ADHD so I must keep track of everyone’s schedules and I have not found anything big enough to manage this family of 6 all in one place. Organization is really important to me…more than in this house, because I am AWFUL… I mean AWFUL with paper work. I misplace coupons all the time, newsletters, school stuff. I am just one horrid scatterbrain with paper!! And I was teacher for YEARS…so you’d think I’d be better at it!

A family like ours need to stay organized to function effectively: 2 teenagers daughters that keep us running to softball games, practice, lessons and school/church events, a middle school family and consumer science teacher/mama/volunteer, a civil engineer/dad/coach = 4 people who love to work hard and play hard!
If we do not stay organized, none of our family members will be where they are suppose to be each day!

If I am not organized the whole family is not organized. my husband is gone a lot for work he is a truck driver. So I have to keep track of all the appt’s and schedules. so it is very important for me to stay organized or no one will get where they are going lol

Organization helps our family save time doing the less fun things (like grocery shopping & cleaning) so we have more time for the fun things.
(Extra entry for liking “Deal”icious Mom on FB). Organization saves us money – when we aren’t organized, I feel like we definitely have a tendency to lose things or let food go to waste, etc.
Organizing our schedule make it’s easier for us to keep up with our busy activities (dance, tumbling, volleyball, piano …). When we are organized everything is less stressful and works like a charm which makes everyone happier.

Glad to find your site! I just signed up to get your blog posts via email. Organizher sound like it would be perfect for me, my goal this fall is to streamline our household. I’ve been ebaying, swapping and donating stuff we don’t need and would like to be able to get a handle on all the paper that comes into our house!
Organization is important to my family because that’s how we can get things done. Without organization, we often miss important dates, miss paying bills, and just not getting things done. 🙁
