Here is the newest addition to our family snack basket. I try really hard to keep our snack basket full of healthy yet yummy treats. Recently, my 4 year old fell in love with CLIF Kid Organic Twisted Fruit. He enjoys Twisted Fruit because it seems to be a regular old fruit snack. Its fun, easy-to-eat rope shape is great for him and I  like them because each one is equivalent of one whole serving of fruit and is a good source of vitamin C. Plus for an added bonus they too, have no processed sugars or corn syrup added.  Twisted Fruit come in yummy flavors too –  Strawberry, Grape, Mixed Berry, Pineapple, Sour Apple and Tropical Twist! CLIF Kid Organic also makes ZBaRs. These are a great snack bar to throw into your purse or a backpack for school! These also come in yummy flavors for kids and are made from all-natural and organic ingredients including rolled oats, chocolate chips, blueberries and more.

As a parent I like that the ZBaR is its nutrition value. They include a good blend of protein, carbohydrates and fiber that work together to balance kids’ energy levels without crashing. Plus there is no processed sugars or corn syrup added. I like these bars for before Karate practice (for both my son and me!) The yummy flavors include: Chocolate Chip, Blueberry, Honey Graham, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Brownie, and S’mores.
