From food to flight, 1935 was a year for legends:  Monopoly debuted.  Elvis Presley was born.  And two iconic cans appeared on store shelves: Dinty Moore® products and Hormel® chili.

Today, these brands can be found in virtually every pantry in America, including my own!

My son’s personal favorite chili recipe is what we lovingly call, “Chili dogs in a bowl”. The recipe is simple. Cook up some Hormel chili and then mix in some precooked hot dogs! Serve with cheese on top! I personally like to eat my “Chili dog in a bowl” inside of a corn tortilla but the boys of the house like it straight out of a bowl! Yum and you simply an not make it with anything but Hormel chili!

To celebrate Dinty Moore and Hormel Chili’s 75th anniversary, they have generously offered up an awesome prize pack!

    My family always has Hormel chili over hot dogs for dinner. They’ve just gotta be topped with raw onion & shredded cheese though!!

    My family likes Hormel Chili over a hamburger with cheddar cheese ontop and no bun. We eat it with a knife and fork.

    We make a dip by layering (in a pie dish) cream cheese, hormel chili (we like it with beans) and shredded cheddar cheese. We microwave it until the chili is hot and the cheese is melted. We scoop it up with tortilla chips. So good and so easy!

    our favorite way to eat Hormel chili would be cooked with chopped onions an sprinked with cheese,my husband loves for me to make cornbread when he eats his Dinty Moore beef stew,he would eat it everyday

    My family enjoys Hormel Chili on chilly fall and winter nights here in Arkansas and in the spring and summer we enjoy it with our BBQ!
