I have a great new money saving deal for you today! For those of you who are holding onto that landline phone service, I can save you some money! Have you heard of Verizon Home Connect?
The Verizon Home Phone Connect serves as a complete replacement for your traditional land line telephone service. With this service you can continue to use the same cordless or corded telephones that are already in use in your home.
OK, OK so I must admit… I am not the most tech savvy person as far as setting things like this up so I was a bit worried when I was asked to be a Verizon Home Connect Ambassador. It usually takes me quite a bit of trial and error for me to get things up and running but good news, not with Verizon Home Connect!
How Does Verizon Home Phone Connect Work and how the heck do you set it up?
The Verizon Home Phone Connect uses Verizon cellular technology. When you order the home phone connect service you will receive a unit that is essentially a cell-phone base station. I was amazed at how super small the unit is, at only 5.4″ wide and 4.2″ deep. There are two jacks in the back for connecting two telephones. Simply plug the power cord into a wall outlet and connect your phone(s) and you are ready to go. The battery backup will provide 3.5 hours of talk time and 36 hours of standup time even when you have no power! Another great feature, you will receive a clear strong signal even where there might be dead spots for your cell phone. My house ifs full of dead zones so this is a PLUS for me!
You want to see how simple the set up is? Here is a short video of my 6 year old doing it!
In the coming weeks I will be sharing my experience with Verizon Home Connect and how it can save you money! I wanted to start out by letting you know how simple this unit is to get set up.
Disclosure: I was provided with a test unit and service for this review. I am also being compensated for my time But as always my opinions remain 100% my own!
Wasn’t the setup up easy?! Loved that your little man did it for you 🙂
Super Easy!
Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the pictures on this blog loading?
I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
