Barney: Let’s Play Outside DVD Giveaway – Closed

It’s a super dee-duper day because Barney: Let’s Play Outside is released on DVD today, May 18th from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment.  Featuring never-before-seen content and fun adventures, this fully-loaded DVD will encourage young kids to go play outside!

Join everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur and his playground friends as they branch out under the sun and stars to fill each day with outdoor fun adventures in Barney: Let’s Play Outside. Here are my “two cents”:

I have to admire this DVD for trying to inspire kids to go outside and play but it seems to strange to me to have a child sit down to watch a DVD to get them to go outside and play! Of course, since I give DVDs away almost weekly on my site, you all know I am not against TV or DVDs therefore, I can not judge Barney for trying to convince my little ones to go out and play. They should be out playing instead of in front of the TV!

As for the DVD, my niece is the Barney fan in this family and this DVD made her happy and if she is happy so am I. This DVD gets a thumbs up from her and I like the message so I say go for it!

Barney: Let’s Play Outside retails for $14.98 and can be found at most stores that sell DVDs near you including Amazon.
