I get so tired of having to run out and buy ink! It seems like every time I need to print something important, I am out of ink. I guess printing all those coupons takes its toll…
Here are some tips that I have learned for saving money on ink:
1.) Buy ink online, places like Phoenix Direct sells ink for less that you would find in the store and you do not need to leave your house so you save the gas too!
2.) Recycle your dry cartridges. Many stores like Staples and Office Max (and many more places!) offer rebates, coupons, or discounts if you bring in your used cartridges so they can recycle them for you!
3.) Buy in bulk. Some places online offer discounts when you buy more at once.
4.) Refill cartridges yourself. You can save lots of dollars on refilling cartridges. You can refill your cartridges by a bottle of ink many times.
5.) Now this one might be obvious but print only the essential! Highlight only what you need and skip printing everything else. This way you will have to buy ink less often.
