Bringing kids to Vegas is maybe never the best idea – however sometimes it can’t be avoided, and so you then have to look at what to do with them once you are in Vegas. Sure there is always the swimming pools, but this is only the summer time, and kids can quickly get bored at Vegas pools as they are not really that kid-friendly. There are a handful of kid-friendly magic shows that take place during the day time, plus of course the theme park at Circus Circus. However, up to now there isn’t really anything that the whole family can do, year round, in the day time, that will be enjoyed by all ages and doesn’t involve setting foot in a casino!

Its a show called ‘Alibi Las Vegas’. I might refer to it as a ‘show’ but truth is its not really like any other shows in Las Vegas. For example, whereas most other shows take place in a theater, this one takes places on the streets, in restaurants, and other real-world locationsĀ of downtown Las Vegas. Its an interative show, and the small group sizes (up to 10 people) ensures that everyone in the group will have a chance to interact with the improv actors, and take part in the show themselves. Drinks are provided (alcoholic and non alcoholic), along with light appetizers which keep everyone fuels as they engage in the exciting story line which takes them around downtown Las Vegas. Kids (and adults!), will love the challenge of never knowing who is ‘in on it’, and who is just a regular member of the public. Guessing who the person you have to approach is, is all part of the fun!
Tickets are available starting November 2014, from alibilasvegas.com
