How to Find Deals on the Internet Just Like Your Favorite Bloggers

Wasn’t it not too long ago that you weren’t “in” unless you had spent hundreds of dollars on your designer jeans and you took lavish vacations…often, and your (insert Italian designer name here) _____ purse was your trusty sidekick.  Well these days, all that may still be true, but the “in” thing is to get it all for at least half price.  That’s right, paying full price for anything just isn’t cool, due to our current recession and increasingly frustrating unemployment situation, websites are popping up all over the internet speaking to current consumer’s desires to be frugal chic.

So how do you sift through the endless websites out there offering you countless discounts and make sure that you are getting the absolute best deals?  Let us explore this budding art form together.

Cutting out the Guesswork

Because everyone is searching for the best deals these days, there is a desire from consumers to maintain the same quality of life that they have always had, even now in the age of penny pinching.  Therefore, quality matters.  It doesn’t make sense to purchase an item simply because you found the cheapest one.  You want the best quality item as well, and when making your final purchase, you want to feel confident that you are getting the best deal out there.  There is no room for buyer’s remorse in todays economy.

A new site called Bestforcheap.com simplifies your search for you and considerably reduces your research time on any particular item.  Their goal is to save you time by doing the price comparisons for you.  They take a look at offers on items from across the web, find the best deals for you and then incorporate consumer reviews and pictures into their information whenever possible.  The idea is to provide the consumer with the opportunity to make the most informed decisions, in the fastest time, when going through the purchasing process.

Another site operating in the same is dealdump.com.  Though this site does not give you immediate access to consumer reviews, it does grab all of the best and cheapest deals on products and puts them all in one place for you, updating them daily.  The only drawback for me on this particular site is that when you click on a particular item, you may get redirected to the original posting of the item.  It is easy to get distracted and in turn, sucked into the web when all of a sudden you are faced with hundreds of items similar to the one you want, and not simply one great deal.

eDealinfo.com offers competitive prices on a huge range of items by comparing all the sales offered online and updates them daily.  You are able to search by category or key word or simply browse deals only being offered that day.  There is also a daily calendar that allows you to view deals offered later that week to allow consumers to plan ahead.

eDeal’s motto is “nothing is expensive, anymore…”  and it couldn’t be more true.  With all the information that consumers have instant access to, there really is no excuse for paying full price.
