$20 Petco Gift Card Giveaway to Celebrate National Kids and Pet Day (Closed)

Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul (Dog and Cat Food) wants to get the word out that today, April 26th is National Kids and Pet Day!  Our hope is to encourage everyone to celebrate pets and their importance to their owners, especially kids. I know I will be showing how much my pet, Molly, means to me today!

On to the Giveaway:

I have a $20 Petco gift card to giveaway to one of my lovely readers.

Just enter your info into the form by May 3rd at 8 pm PST. I will choose the winner by random number generator then. I will email the winner and the winner will have 48 hours to get back to me or I will choose a new winner.

    We have 2 dogs, a schnauzer named Rex and a schnoodle named Windy. We also have a turtle named Shelly, 3 fish, and a craby we call “Crusty” 🙂 It’s a zoo over here! LOL!

    my son actually wanted to give our cat a present today because she pooped in her litter box..can you tell my son is potty training..anyways we opened a can of fancy feast and he gave her it as her present

    I think we’ll take the dogs for a nice, long walk on Pet Day which is their favorite thing in the world besides cookies (which we’ll probably give them also).

    I did not know that today was National Pet Day! As usual, my sons and I took our dog on a walk this evening after dinner. She and the boys look forward to our daily walks. It is great exercise for us all and we all enjoy being out doors in this beautiful Spring weather.

    Our family takes great care of our dogs, we make sure they get walked, always have fresh water, get special treats and go for their yearly vet checks.

    We will take the dog to the dog park to romp and play and swim.
    For the cats, 😉 we will take the dog to the dog park, and they get fresh chicken, catnip and lots of brushing.

    Our kitties know we love them because we kind of spoil them. Ok not kind of they are definitly spoiled. They both always sleep with one of us at night. We have 2 window cat seats (one in living room one in one of the bedrooms) and in 2 other rooms we have either a dresser or a cabinet under the window so they can lay on it and look out the window. We have cat toys ALL over.

    We spoil our dogs every day and April 26 was no exception. They got to go to Petco – their favorite place – just ask if they want to go to the “puppy store” and they go crazy!

    We have 2 dogs – Foxy, a 25 lb. terrier mix – rescued from a shelter – supposed to be the kids dog, but she’s mine. 🙂

    And Lucy, a 4 lb. chihuahua – a lost dog that wandered onto my boss’ deck one evening, tired and hungry. She tried everything to find the owner – fliers, ads, Craigslist, Petfinder, Facebook, Twitter. No one claimed her, my boss couldn’t keep her so we took her and she is so cute and funny.

    They are both young – 3 and 1 yr, so we hope to have them for a long time to come.

    We lost 2 of our 3 cats in the past 6 months. My Mickey (aged 11 yrs. 8 mos.) in October, and Sasha, this April 12 (age 14.) We have our Big Kitty, age around 13. We went to our local shelter and adopted a beautiful black & white feisty little girl (aged 2) who had been at the shelter the longest…1 year! We named her Lilli Rose. She’s a real joy, and makes Big Kitty very happy.

    Just a note….If I win, we’ll be getting some food and/or toys for the shelter where we got our Lilli. We plan to support them monthly with donations.

    A Siamese Seal Point named Kato who just had a $2K emergency surgery… He is now a She (urinary blockage with surgery complications.)
