Tanka Fund, a non-profit devoted to returning buffalo to Native American lands, lives and economies, is holding a free sweepstakes to win this authentic hand-painted buffalo hide.
To promote this historic campaign the hide traveled to natural food shows, outdoor retailer events, tribal gatherings and went on the road with Neil Young on his summer and fall Rebel Content Tours. More than 11,000 people have entered the sweepstakes which is now in the final stretch. Enter for your chance to win before the sweepstakes ends on January 31, 2016 and support this important fund.
To further support the campaign, Native American Natural Foods created a new product called TankaFund Jerky. More than 110,000 Jerky strips have been ordered since the campaign launch and a portion of sales goes directly to developing and growing sustainable buffalo herds in Indian Country.
We are sharing this new in hopes that our fellow Americans will learn about the value of returning buffalo to our lands, our people and our economies. Karlene Hunter, CEO of Native American Natural Foods has said, “..the last time we had a functioning economy, it was a buffalo economy. It’s time to bring that back.”
