This post is brought to you by Kohls. All opinions remain 100% my own.
I am so excited to share this great opportunity I has this holiday season to Pay It Forward. This is all thanks to Kohls so definitely a BIG thanks goes out to them!
Recently my son came home from school talking about how his class had adopted a boy who was living in a foster care facility. The class wanted to make this the best possible holiday for this little boy. Luckily I had this great opportunity from Kohls to shop for someone in need this year! I received a $250 gift card to go to Kohls and shop, shop, shop! MY son was so excited to buy all sorts of things for this little boy.
Here is a sample of some of the items we got him:
I took my son along since he is the same age at the boy we were shopping for and he picked out a bunch of great items from toys to clothes and everything in between! It was such a nice feeling to see my son, so happy to be shopping for someone else. He was not focused on himself. He was just thinking about what would make this special boy happy on Christmas morning!
Let me tell you, $250 dollars goes a long, long way at Kohls plus I had a coupon for 15% off and some Kohls cash so in the end we were about to buy over $300 worth of items for this boy! Even after we shopped and checked out, I still get to go back and spend more because I got Kohls cash back and Kohls rewards!
We were able to pick up some jeans, a jacket, some very stylish shoes, and so many toys I could go one forever!
I can not tell Kohls enough how thankful I am to have had the chance to do this! Not only will one special little boy have a great holiday but my family learned how great it feels to pay it forward. This is definitely going to become a family tradition!
While I have you, let me tell you about Gifts that Give Back. This holiday, Kohl’s offers exclusive hardcover books featuring Peanuts classics by author Charles M. Schulz along with coordinating plush toys for just $5 each through the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program. Also for $5, Kohl’s Cares merchandise brings shoppers the Holiday Cheer cookbook, the holiday CD Upon the Winter Solstice from Trans-Siberian Orchestra and a Peanuts jigsaw puzzle. Through the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program, Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profit to children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. Since 2000, it has raised more than $231 million for children’s health and education programs in local communities across the country.
Are you paying it forward this year?
