At lunch the other day my co-workers and I got in a bit of a heated debate about what the best burger is in Los Angeles. One of my co-workers bought up the burgers over at The Counter and I was so surprised to hear this as his top burger because I drive by one of The Counter locations everyday and have never stopped UNTIL yesterday! Can I just say my co-worker was right! Yum!

When I ate over at The Counter I customized my burger. I had a 1/3 patty with a briouche bun. I added cheddar cheese, avocado, and onion strings. I was in heaven. My husband ordered one of their new menu items that you can check out below. He ordered the “Red Eye” and he loved it. In fact I almost ordered that too but I was nervous about the idea of the “sriracha” sauce but when his burger arrived I noticed that the sauce came on the side so he could add as much or as little as he wanted. I liked that a lot. Now I know what I am ordering next time we go. Overall it was a very yummy experience. I also really recommend the chilli cheese fries!
I mentioned that The Counter has some new menu options. The new menu also boasts five (5) new Expert Builds with unique flavor combinations showcasing the numerous protein options available (beef, turkey, bison, tuna and chicken):
· Red Eye: hormone and antibiotic free beef topped with melted tillamook cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, ripened red tomato, a sunny side up egg on an English muffin with a side of sweet sriracha
