Unique Gift Idea: Hallmark Recordable Books – Closed

imagesCA9V2Q7WWith Thanksgiving only a week away I wanted to share a unique gift idea that I thought would make a great keepsake for a loved one. I even thought that this might make a great early gift to bring over for the holidays. Hallmark has a wonderful line of recordable storybooks that are hugely popular. The idea is simple, Hallmark makes a regular story book like The Night Before Christmas and then makes it so that anyone can record the story in their own voice for children (or adults) to enjoy for years to come! I heard about these books and I knew my kids would cherish these books. Having a book read to them by Nana or Granddad would mean so much to them.

I remember when I was a child my mother used to read my favorite books and record them on cassettes for me to listen to when I was falling asleep. This simple idea my mom had is one of my fondest memories. Now when I think of many of my favorite books, I can actually hear my mom’s voice reciting them to me.recordable books

I was thinking this really is a great book for all ages. A college student that will be leaving home, a little one learning to read, a grandmother who lives far away and so many more, a parent who is over seas at war. These books really can be cherished by so many.

Again, the books are easy to work:

Where to Buy:

You can pick up a recordable book at a Hallmark store near you but hurry because these sell out fast this time of year! The prices average at $29 but be on the look out in magazine for coupons for $5-10 off your purchase.
