Ice Cream Giveaway to Celebrate National Ice Cream Month (5 Winners) – Closed

Summer’s heating up! With National Ice Cream Month has arrived! My family recently had a change to dive into a huge box of new frozen treats from Breyers, Klondike, Popsicle and REESE’S. Seriously, my oldest has not wanted to eat anything else since the box of treats arrived!

Here’s the scoop:

My entire family loves the new Breyers Blasts! line, which features delicious mix-ins from America’s best-loved candy and cookie brands blasted into every bite. I am talking huge pieces of Oreos, Reese’s, Whoppers and more! There are 12 different kinds!

I am quite partial to the new Klondike varieties especially the Mint Chocolate Chip bar and What the Fudge? Brownie sandwich. I would not even let another family member look twice at the Mint Chip Klondike Bar. Those are mine!

My boys go bonkers for the new Popsicle Jolly Rancher Awesome Twosome and AirHeads ice pops. They are colorful and bursting with the same bold fruity flavors that kids know and love from Jolly Rancher and AirHeads candy. As a mom I likes that the AirHeads pops are not very large and they do not get drippy very fast. They are full of flavor but are quite different from other popsicles I have seen and tasted.

Sadly, my family did not get a chance to try the Reese’s Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cups yet but what family doesn’t have a REESE’S peanut butter lover? These bars claim to have the same yum factor that we know and love from Reese’s. Peanut butter ice cream with a REESE’S peanut butter swirl dipped in a milk chocolate flavored coating – ummmm – Yum! I am sure this are just as yummy as the rest of these treats!

Help Slow the Melt with Popsicle ( Giveaway w/ 5 Winners) – Closed

I know that you probably don’t sit around all day thinking of ways to stop the polar ice caps from melting but thankfully Popsicle is!

Popsicle® is partnering with National Geographic Kids™ to help Slow the Melt. Whether it’s shutting off the lights every time they leave the room or turning off the water while brushing their teeth, there are very easy steps kids can take to help. In fact, National Geographic Kids™ created 10 simple things kids can do every day to help slow the melt of the polar ice caps!

As part of the Popsicle® and National Geographic Kids™ partnership to help Slow the Melt, this summer Popsicle® will utilize Twitter to help raise funds for research and exploration efforts to help decrease the impact of global climate change by encouraging Twitter users to include the #SlowTheMelt hashtag in their Tweets. Through August 15, 2010, every Tweet containing the hashtag #SlowTheMelt, Popsicle® will donate $1, up to $25,000, to the National Geographic™ Polar Fund for every Tweet containing the hashtag #SlowTheMelt, Funds raised will support research and exploration efforts of the polar ice caps and global warming issues.

Creating My Valentine’s Day Menu Using Pom Wonderful! (Giveaway-Closed)

I recently realized that Valentines day is less than a month away! This year I have a house full of three boys that I am dying to give a romantic fun filled day too. I really want to show them how happy and grateful I am to have them in my life. So when Pom Wonderful sent over a few bottles of their 100% pomegranate juice and I saw the beautiful red color, I immediately thought about Valentines Day and about my 3 loves!

Here is my plan – I want to incorporate Pom Wonderful into my Valentine’s Day meals. Now, remember I am just starting out as a cook so I have to start basic. So to start over I headed over to Pom Wonderful’s website where to my surprise they have a HUGE site full of recipes utilizing POM wonderful. I already knew that I wanted to make some sort of pink or red velvet cupcake (I am obsessed with cupcakes) so I found these beautiful cupcakes with pink cream cheese frosting. I am going to be honest here – I am going to cheat and use boxed cupcakes. I know it is horrible but I am going to make the frosting…I think these will be a huge hit!

Next, I want to make a festive drink using POM Wonderful so I am going to try this Pom Princess Mocktail. Isn’t it pretty!

I am so excited to make my 3 boys a special Valentines meal with POM Wonderful. My husband loves to drink POM Wonderful straight from the bottle because it is so rich in antioxidants. I struggle to drink it straight out of the bottle since it is pretty strong but I do love to find creative ways to incorporate it into our meals.

New Years Resolution: Losing My Baby Weight With Popsicles…Sounds Yummy Doesn’t It! (Giveaway) – Closed

OK, Is there anyone else out there who raids there kid’s snack cabinet like it is going out of style? Sometimes I just can’t seem to resist some of the goodies they have in there! This is definitely not a good thing for me since my 2nd baby is now 6 months old and I am trying, and this is my new years resolution (of course), to lose my baby weight! Having all this tempting food around me all the time needs to stop…

A few weeks ago Popsicle sent me some very interesting and intriguing information that hit straight to home with me and I thought I would share it with you – along with a yummy giveaway of course!

These are so yummy you will not know you are eating something sugar free or low fat! I am pretty picky about my sweets but these satisfy both my 3 years sweet tooth and my own. Truthfully my son is a bit too attached to these. He asks for one when he wakes up in the morning and before he goes to bed at night and all the moments in between

I can’t recommend them enough especially if you can’t seem to kick that sweet tooth (like me) but you really want to lose some weight or simply be a little more healthy.
