Tron at the El Capitan is an Electrifying Experience!

Last week “Deal”icious Dad and I went on a date to see Tron at the El Capitan in Los Angeles. OMG was it an experience. Not only is the El Capitan theatre on Hollywood Blvd in L.A so you get to see stars on the walk fame when you walk in to the theatre but it is a historic theatre as well. Just that experience alone is worth it for me BUT then before the movie starts there is an laser light show right there in the theater! Kids will love this. There were “ohhs and awws” all through out the theater when we saw it!

Then of course the movie started which was super cool as well! The sound system at the El Capitan only made it even better.

We had such a great time on our date. If you are in the L.A. area definitely pencil in a trip to the El Capitan to see Tron! The movie is playing from now until 1/17.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long at The El Capitan Discount Tickets

Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theater is celebrating the upcoming release of “Beauty and the Beast” for the first time on Diamond Edition Blu-ray and DVD October 5th, with an exclusive theatrical engagement of “Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-Long” from September 24th through October 7th 2010.

Only at the El Capitan Theatre will guests relive the magic and music of “Beauty and the Beast” while singing along to the words on the big screen. A special live appearance by Belle is also featured at every performance.

On select days, El Capitan guests may enjoy Breakfast with Belle at the Disney’s Soda Fountain & Studio Store, and then see the 10:45am movie! Seating is limited and reservations are required.

The El Capitan Theatre will also host a special “Tiny Tot Tuesday” on Tuesday, September 28, at 10:45am only. During this special screening of “Beauty and the Beast” parents and small children can enjoy the movie in a “Tiny Tot” friendly way – complete with lights dimmed rather than out and reduced sound levels! If you are looking to see “Beauty and the Beast Sing-a-Long” at the El Capitan (and you should be! because I am sure it is awesome!). You can use the code “Dealiciousmom”, to get tickets at the special rate of $9.00 a piece.

The discount can be used for Tiny Tot Tuesday or any other day Monday through Friday (Sept 27-Oct 7).

Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theater will host Tiny Tot Tuesday on September 7 at 10:00am. Enjoy “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue” in a friendly setting! Lights are dimmed and sound level is reduced. A special discounted rate is being offered at this showing only for adults and children at $9.00 a ticket.
