CARS 2 races into theatres everywhere in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D tomorrow, June 24th!

What to expect:

Star racecar Lightning McQueen and the incomparable tow truck Mater take their friendship to new places when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with surprises when Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage. Torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret spy mission, Mater’s journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan and Europe, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world.

My Two Cents:

My family was lucky enough to see an advanced screening last week. We were super excited to see all our favorite Cars characters back on the big screen. Sadly, I do not think the old characters where included in this movie enough. The focus being on Tow Mater and Lightning with the addition on some new characters as well. We enjoyed the movie but had a bit of nostalgia for our old friends.

I do have to mention that the plot line of Cars 2 is a bit intense for younger kids. Although, I am sure most kids will love every second of it, The explosions, plot line ( I do not want  give anything juicy away) and some precarious positions the characters are in may worry the kids a bit.
