A while back my mom told me that the only reason she has a Facebook was so she could score all the great deals and freebies I share on my site. She noticed that a lot of the freebies required a Facebook page so she set one up BUT soon after doing that people from her past started coming out of the woodwork that she was not real sure she wanted to talk to! My mother also started getting requests from people that she did not know and she was not sure if she was being scammed or what was going on. So she decided to delete her account at the cost of all those wonderful freebies!
I began to think, there has to be another way. Thankfully at about the same time I read this post by Shannon at For the Mommas about how to set your Facebook account to private so NO ONE even knows you have one! This is exactly what my mom (and maybe you) need! Following the steps in her post makes you basically invisible on Facebook!
