All my life the end of August always means piling into the car and driving all around town to find clothes for everyone in my family. Since we are all teachers and students in my family, the end of summer means back to school and back to work, which of course means new clothes. This usually also means a bad mood for everyone because we can never decide on a store that we all like to shop at. My husband, who is also a teacher has a very picky unique sense of style and my kids have a very specific set of items they need as well. I need professional yet stylish items that will work in to my current wardrobe. So needless to say, we always have quite a task at hand.

Recently, I convinced my husband to give Marshalls a chance and he has had a lot of success there. We always walk out with bags of perfect items for the whole family. T.J Maxx is the same. I have found that I have more success at T.J. Maxx than my boys because I always seem to find a “hidden gem” amongst the racks. My boys always seem to find some really great items at some amazing prices at Marshalls. So it is great that some gift cards we receive as gifts work at both stores!

My advice, if you are like me and you dread back to school shopping, is to try Marshalls and T.J. Maxx first because they really seem to have the hottest treads available at some of the best prices I have seen. It may just save you from dragging the family around to a million other stores!
