I love Tuesdays for many reasons but one is because all the new releases come out on Tuesdays. My family was lucky enough to get a couple of today’s new releases a few weeks early for this review and my “mommy popularity” sky rocketed when my son opened up this DVD! He is a HUGE Thomas fan!

Today, March 2nd, marks the release of Thomas & Friends: Thomas & the Runaway Kite! This DVD features full CG animation and individual voices for all the engines. My son could not be more thrilled with this DVD and it is my current favorite DVD from all the DVDs he owns (just knocking out Hero of the Rails)

DVD SYNOPSIS

There’s a kite on the loose and Thomas must catch it before the wind blows it from Sodor. With Gordon, Charlie and Toby by his side, Thomas learns that a helping hand keeps him right on track when it comes to rescuing kites, saving a swarm of bees, and preventing railway disasters from taking flight!
