I checked out the recipes at MarshmellowPeeps.com and I was going to try to make this:

BUT then my 4 yr old decided he was going to take control of the whole operation.

I gave him a round cake, green and brown chocolate chips, shredded coconut and PEEPS® Chocolate Covered Mint Flavored Marshmallow Trees and this is what he made. He calls in “Walking in a Winter Wonderland!”

Pretty good for a little guy right? He really loved that he could make a “forest” on the cake with the PEEPS® Chocolate Covered Mint Flavored Marshmallow Trees and the coconut for snow. They were definitely a big hit and they are yummy too!

These new Peeps candies can be used for so many different things during the holidays. Of course the obvious would be to eat them as soon as you get them in your hands (like I did!) but they are also great in stockings, as classroom treats, cake decorations, and in holiday crafts and recipes!
