Leg Huggers Review & Giveaway (Closed) – The Product that Helps Baby Girls Stay Trendy and Moms Stay Sane!

It is no secret here on my blog or out in the “real” world that I really wanted to have a baby girl this time around but there were other plans in the works for me. Wanting a girl was entirely selfish on my part. I simply wanted someone to buy “girly” things for and to go shopping with. I am over that now and I can’t wait to meet my little guy and see how my two little boys become brothers together and grow up together…and fight together Bring it on!

How adorable are these! If I did not know better I would have told you to buy these based on sheer cuteness but Leg Huggers are so much more than trendy baby apparel. Leg Huggers have so many uses:

• keeping baby legs warm
• protecting their knees on hard surfaces
• easy diaper changes (that’s where the saving mom sanity comes in!) – simply unsnap the onesie and change!
• easier potty training – no more pulling pants up and down, up and down!
• Great for dance classes and gym classes to keep our little athletes and ballerinas trendy and in shape!
• Last but not least if we have any 80 moms out there (like me) these Leg Huggers will help you reminisce back to the times of leg warmers. You can create your own little 80’s Jazzercize baby…these Leg Huggers make me think of aerobics, boom boxes, lip smackers, and AquaNet…ok I am getting of track – moving right along.

Basically Leg Huggers are fashionable yet functional leggings for your baby. They do not have feet in them and they only cover from thigh to ankle so the diaper area is easily accessible. They are one size fits all and they actually stay in place. Plus they come in some very cute designs that can easily be worn under a dress or skirt to add some extra style to any occasion.

But not only are these Leg Huggers great for protecting our little ones legs, they are also good for the environment. Leg Huggers are made from 100% sustainable bamboo fibers. Bamboo is arguably one of the world’s best sustainable resources. With a growth rate of up to a meter or more per day, bamboo holds the world record as the fastest growing plant.

Bamboo is often called the new cotton. It is more anti-bacterial than other fabrics. Bamboo wicks moisture away, it’s great for your circulation and skin, preventing over-heating or chills from trapped-in moisture.

It is also hypoallergenic, and its organic, the natural fiber properties make it non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin. Bamboo apparel also protects you from UV rays, naturally.

If all that weren’t enough, bamboo apparel is good for our ecosystems because it does not require pesticides, insecticides, or fertilizers, and does not involve the use of genetically modified organisms. Most importantl⁹, bamboo fibers are biodegradable.

I wish that Leg Huggers made some boy versions – maybe camouflage, cars, dump trucks or air planes but sadly they do not. They also only have 15 varieties to choose from which is plenty but I do think there is room for many more designs in the future.
