Having worked in a high school for many years, I know the importance of shoes! Yes, I said SHOES! The boys in my classes value their shoes like they were their fist born child. Seriously, keeping their new shoes white is a very important task for most high school boys (and girls). As both a teacher and a mom, I also know how hard it is to keep shoes in the pristine condition that teenage boys want their shoes to be in. Of course, parents can not go out and buy new shoes every time a pair gets a little dirty… if this was the case mom and dad would be buying a new pair every week!
Luckily, KIWI Shoe Care has some great tips and products to help us (parents) from taking the financial hit when we buy a pair of new shoes for our children. The goal, keep them looking new and perfect for a long as possible!
One way parents can help children put their best foot forward this fall – and to make the most of this year’s clothing budget – is to make sure their shoes stay clean and new, and protected from the harsh elements – rain, snow, sleet, etc. Caring for your child’s shoes takes only a few minutes for long-lasting protection and savings that can last through the school year.
There are simple wallet-friendly products and steps every mom can take to extend the life of her kids’ shoes while still ensuring they look good. ![]()
- Save the Suede. If your child wears winter suede boots, consider protecting that investment to get them ready for the upcoming cold weather. Products like KIWI Suede & Nubuck Protector & KIWI Protect-All create an invisible shield designed to weather the storm and protect against water and stains so that boots look newer for more than just one school season.
- Keep Sneakers White. KIWI Fast Acting Cleaner will allow you to keep your child’s sneakers in tip-top shape. It’s designed to swiftly and effectively remove grass stains from sneakers to keep them looking new all the time – just the way they looked when you first bought them.
- Change the Laces. Old dirty laces can make a shoe appear to be in worse condition than it actually is. Change sneaker laces now and then to keep your child’s shoes looking newer and fresher. Consider laces that are strong, abrasion resistant and long-lasting.
- Shine it Up. KIWI Express Shine Sponges are the perfect solution for a busy household. Just like parents, kids need to keep their shoes looking shiny and new especially when there is a special function at school like a concert or dance. With KIWI Express Shine, moms can easily and completely shine their kids shoes no matter how much – or how little – time they have.
