Halloween is fast approaching and I am lucky enough to share my favorite Halloween movie with you!

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, the beloved classic sees it’s first ever release on Blu-ray DVD in a combo pack that includes both a Blu-ray and standard edition of the special.  This Halloween special is geared toward kids ages six and up.

DVD Synopsis

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown finds the Peanuts gang outfitted in spooky costumes, ready for trick or treating and crashing Violet’s Halloween party. Charlie Brown is in a ghost costume (with more eyeholes cut out than needed), Lucy is dressed as a witch and Snoopy is in a World War I flying ace costume. Linus however, decides to steadfastly hold vigil in the pumpkin patch to await the Great Pumpkin with Sally by his side. Will this be the year the Great Pumpkin finally makes an appearance? Linus is convinced that he will.

My Two Cents:

This special is a tradition in my family. We do not go even one Halloween without watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. I have watched it every  year since I was small and I never get enough of it. It simply makes me smile and I am so glad to see it in beautiful high definition picture quality and improved audio. This one is definitely getting packed in my holiday boxes and brought out every year to share with my family and friends.
