Gerber DHA Puree and 8 Grains & Yogurt Cereal Review Plus Gerber Prize Pack Giveaway (Closed)

I am so excited because my second son is quickly approaching a huge milestone. Soon he will be eating his first meal other than formula! How exciting this must be for him – even though he has no idea it is coming or that real food even exists… hmmm o’well, I am excited enough for the both of us and I have been secretly stalking the baby food aisle for months looking at all the new developments in baby food. I am truly amazed at all the new changes that have occurred since my first son was eating baby food only 2 short years ago.

I have to admit “Beefaroni” (my first son) was very partial to Gerber food (and he still is.) He loved his Gerber baby food from his first very messy bite of cereal all the way to his Gerber Graduates meals that I can’t get him to stop eating now. So when I saw 2 new products on the shelves from Gerber I was excited to learn more. These products offer so much and I am so sure “Squeaker” (my 2nd son) will love them. The baby I passed my review products on too absolutely loved them. I watched him gobble both the cereal and the puree up and his mom said he is usually a rather fussy eater. She updated me earlier this week that her son has been consistently eating both of these products with no problem or complaints for 2 weeks now and to quote Little Einsteins, she “can not believe it!”

Gerber 8 Grains and Yogurt Cereal adds variety to your baby’s diet while introducing her to the taste of yogurt. It is made with 8 natural grains (Wheat, Barley, Rye, Corn, Sorghum, Rice, Millet, Oat), real yogurt and Live and Active Cultures. 8 Grains and Yogurt has no artificial flavors and is an excellent source of iron for healthy mental development.

After reading those descriptions and talking with my friend, I am eager to let “Squeaker” try these products. These products seem like a healthy option yet still appear a baby’s discerning palate (do baby’s have palates…yes, of course they do!)
