Finding the Best Baby Monitor for Your Baby

In today’s technological age – purchasing the best baby monitors is almost as difficult as purchasing a new computer.  Today’s monitors come with so many options,
from HD video to recording capabilities that finding the perfect one and staying within budget is often difficult. As a mother of 4, when I first began searching for a monitor I was inundated with parental guilt for even thinking about purchasing a basic model.  But ask yourself before you buy, do you really need to be able to see your baby in color while they sleep?  If you are anything like the worrywart that I was, you will likely be physically checking your baby at least once an hour regardless of what kind of baby monitor you purchase.

My advice to you when it comes to purchasing baby monitors or even the best baby swing that money can buy – is to stay within your budget, look for tried and true advice (preferably from other moms), and resist the urge to be impulsive.  When it comes to many of the things that you will buy for your baby, the truth is that with the exception of a few – they will not be useful for long.

For this reason, it is important to do a bit of research on the other, more useful products before you hit the ‘add to cart’ button.  Take it from me, spending less money on the things your child will grow out of in a jiffy – and more on items like the best convertible car seat, will reduce your stress (and save your pocket book) in the long run.  When I first purchased car seats for my twins, I did not realize that the ones I picked out would have to be replaced in a year’s time.  And then again a year later.  A little research on my part and looking up information on the best car seats would have saved me hundreds of dollars.
