Welcome to the dog days of summer. I keep my kids happy by letting them play their ninetendo ds’s and by giving them fruit snacks, granola bars or other sugary treat about once every two hours.

My best tip for traveling is to pack each child their own entertainment backpack that might include a game, favorite dvd, coloring books and crayons, snacks etc.
