Donate a Photo for a Good Cause! #Spon

This post on making a difference in the world through your own photography is brought to you by Johnson & Johnson and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them.

Are you a couponer like me? I would assume so since you are here on “Deal”icious Mom. If you are a coupon person then you may already  know about  Healthy Essentials™ coupons… These can be found both in newspapers and online and provide over $50 in savings on the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies products! I am sure you know what products I am talking about: NEUTROGENA®, BAND-AID® Brand, LISTERINE®, AVEENO®, NEOSPORIN®, VISINE® and others. I imagine that many of you have one if not many of these products in you home this very minute! If you have any of these on your upcoming shopping list, definitely head over to the Healthy Essentials site and grab some coupons!

Next, I have to tell you about an easy way to donate to some very important causes for FREE! Johnson & Johnson just launched the new Donate a Photo app is a  way to raise money and awareness for causes that need help. With this new and free app you can make a difference through one simple act – taking a photo

For every photo shared through Donate a Photo, the Company will donate one dollar to one of its non-profit partners.

The Donate a Photo campaign kicks off with three non-profit partners to choose from:

  • Safe Kids: One photo helps protect a child from a sports injury
  • Keep America Beautiful: One photo helps restore a public park
  • Save the Children: One photo helps a newborn get medicine to thrive

Each time one of the causes reaches its goal, another takes its place. The great news is that you can donate one photo a day, every day through the campaign!

How do you donate? I knew you would ask! Donating is simple: Just visit healthyessentials.com/our-caring to find out how to download the free Donate a Photo app and register to get started, then choose a cause, upload a photo and share it on Facebook and Twitter to show the actions and impact to friends and followers and encourage them to get involved in helping the causes, too

Keep in mind that all donations must be made through a mobile device.

Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. Each cause will appear in the app until it reaches its goal, or the donation period ends. If the goal isn’t reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation.

Here is an excellent video about how to use the Donate a Photo app – It is simple and straight forward but just in case, here you go!
