So here’s the deal I did today (Aug. 31st)
1 Colgate Total Advanced Clean Toothpaste 4 oz. $2.99
2 Covergirl Wetslicks Lipglosses 5.99 each
Coupons Used=
- $1.50 off Total Advance Clean Toothpaste (found in August All You Mag)
-5.99 BOGO Free Any Covergirl Lip product (found in the P&G insert of the 8/31 newspaper)
-5.79 in ECBs – I only had two ECBs in 5.00 increments so I could only use one of my ECB receipts. So my OOP was a tiny bit higher than I wanted. I usually aim for around a dollar OOP or lower.
Total AFTER coupons = 1.69 (plus .67 for taxes) so 2.36 (on my MyPoints gift card of course, so really I had no OOP!)
AND… I made back $2.00 in ECBs for the Colgate and $5.99 in ECBs for the Covergirl.
I love CVS and of course – now my smile does too!

My P&G insert did NOT have the cover girl BOGO coupons! Does anyone know why?
I know that the inserts are different in many areas. My BOGO was on the page directly behind the page that had the 1.00 off the Covergirl face product coupon. I almost missed it. But I am not sure why some areas get a coupon and another area does not…
