I was recently lucky enough to get to join the Carmex Blog Squad. Let me tell you, they certainly picked the right girl for the job because I have been a devoted Carmex user since I was in high school in the early 90’s. I have been carrying around a jar of Carmex in my purse for over 10 years now.
I am sure most of you are familiar with Carmex for their jars, tubes, and sticks of wonderful lip balm but did you know that Carmex has recently extended their line to include skincare as well. The line now includes their new Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream. Carmex also introduced their new MOISTURE PLUS™ line. This ultra hydrating lip balm is now available with a hint of tint.
The new Carmex products can only be found at Walgreens or online at Drugstore.com.
My Two Cents
Can I just say that I am in love with all of the new products! The lotion and the cream have a scent that I simply love. It is light and very addicting. I find myself;f applying the lotion over and over through out the day simply to get the fragrance. Plus both the lotion and the cream are so effective on my rough skin (think elbows). The Healing Lotion has aloe and vitamin E in it and it is not greasy at all. The new Moisture Plus line is now part of my daily make-up routine. I am not a heavy make-up person but I do like to have a put together look. I like the “hint” of color that the Moisture Plus line gives my lips. The peach tint is by far my fave and it has taken the place of my usual lip gloss. It makes my lips look healthy and natural. At night, by my bed I have a jar of cherry flavored Carmex. I put it on right when I climb in to bed and I love how it makes my lips feel. It is definitely part of my routine at night. In my purse I have a tube of the cherry Carmex… ok ok I think you get it. I love Carmex. I really can not say enough about it. It is the simple things in life ( like good lip balm) that make me happy!
