Hx2 provides fun for kids of all ages, including kids at heart!

I am definitely a still a kid at heart! When I got a chance to review a pair of Hx2 Heelys, you could say I was excited (to say the least!). I knew my son would be super excited to find a pair of these under the tree but I knew the even more exciting part for him was going to see me trying to skate in my new pair of Hx2 Heelys.

Heelys and I know that the world of skating can be daunting for little ones just getting started – that’s why Heelys has developed a new shoe that makes it easy for younger children to get in on the fun! Heelys, creators of popular wheeled footwear, presents the all-new Hx2 for kids as young as 4 years old. Hx2 teaches youngsters balance and caution while learning the basics. Plus as if I do not embarrass myself enough, the Hx2 will also come in up to a size women’s 9, too, so moms can be there every step (and roll!) of the way! Of course if you are anything like me on Christmas morning, your little boy or girl will be rolling away on their Heelys like a pro and you will be stumbling and acting like a fool trying to stay on your feet while everyone else giggles and video tapes the whole thing… or is that just me

   What makes the Hx2 different from other Heelys shoes?

Instead of one large wheel, the Hx2 has two smaller, removable wheels in each shoe. Not only is it easier to maintain balance, but wearers of the Hx2 do not require as much leg strength to lift their toes to skate. (thanks goodness for that!) As beginners get the hang of skating, the Hx2 can be converted into a regular pair of Heelys for a more challenging ride simply by removing one of the wheels. It’s like training wheels for your feet!

      Now athletes of all ages and skill levels can use Heelys to walk, run and transition to a roll at any moment.
The fall Hx2 styles are available now at select retailers for $54.99, and come in sizes 12C-3. The available color combinations are:

• White and silver with glossy pink details
• White and red with bold black details

Heelys just released its holiday HX2 styles on the Heelys Shop. For $54.99, in sizes 12C-3 there will be the following colors:

• Black and gray with bright yellow trim
• Shiny blue and green with black trim

For those of us who are still kids at heart, Heelys released the Hx2 on the Heelys Shop in up to an adult size 9! Now parents can tag along as kids learn and get a fun workout, too!
For $54.99, adult size HX2s will be available in up to a size 9 in the following styles:

• Sky blue canvas with white accent stitching
• Black canvas with pink accent stitching

Each pair carries an X2 logo on the side, and the kids styles have three sporty Velcro straps across the top. And best of all, pop out both wheels and the Hx2 becomes a stylin’ street shoe!
