Sleepy Wrap and One Mom’s Search for the Perfect Baby Carrier (Plus a Giveaway!) – Closed

sleepy wrap It is becoming very clear to me as my baby’s due date approaches that I have become very preoccupied with the idea of finding the perfect carrier for him. I am on the hunt to try them all in search of one that my little guy will actually enjoy and stay in as compared to my first son who would not stay in a sling, pouch, or any type of carrier if his life depended on it.

sleepywrap1 My recent discovery is the Sleepy Wrap. The great thing about the Sleepy Wrap (and this is what drew my attention) is that it is a baby carrier that has been made with “no digging straps or poking buckles or buttons”. It is a very simple design. You can read more about all the great and unique qualities of the sleepy wrap here. Seriously it looks so comfy I want to be carried around in one…I don’t think it is going to happen though.

Sleepy Wrap recently came out with an organic version of their original wrap (available in Natural and Khaki) and I could not be more thrilled to share it with you. I love the idea of buying organic products and I really love the idea of carrying my son around (close to me) in this organic wrap free of pesticides and chemicals.

I must admit getting the wrap on for the first couple of times can be a little intimidating but I am confident that after a couple more tries I will be a pro. The wrap is made from a lot of fabric and it is a little overwhelming at first so be prepared but I fell like the pros far out weigh the beginner’s learning curve that comes with the Sleepy Wrap..

On the Sleepy Wrap website they give you 27 advantages that their wrap has over all the rest. Here are my personal faves:

evenly distributes the weight of your baby-much more supported than carrying with your arms, on one shoulder, or your hip

cleans up nice -wash, tumble dry and go!

comfortable -moves with you instead of restricting you

affordable- a great value seeing that your baby will probably begin to walk on his own before he outgrows the wrap

So here’s hoping my little guy will agree with me and think that the Sleepy Wrap is a comfy place for him to hang out. I know if I was a baby I would love to be chauffeured around all day in one of these comfy carriers.
