Giveaway : $5 E.L.F Coupon Code

$5.00 coupon = 5 free products from E.L.F.

There are always codes out there for free shipping or 50% off so keep an eye out or check Retailmenot.com to make this an even better prize!

elflogo_brnI received a $5.00 coupon code for E.L.F. cosmetics in my email this morning for commenting on a blog yesterday! I do not plan on using the code so I figured I would pass it on to my readers! If you are not subscribed to my feed or email you can do so here!

This coupon could be used to get 5 free items from E.L.F since most of their items sell for $1.00 a piece. I enjoy their make-up a lot and I would be using this code but I am very well stocked on make-up for the time being, thanks to the AllureExperts sending me free mascara and BzzAgent sending me a lot of free Max Factor make-up in a BzzKit.

So hopefully someone else will enjoy the code and some nice free make-up as well!

I will close comments and the giveaway at 10 p.m., Saturday, August 23 PST and I will select a winner with Random.org

I will contact the winner by email and if the winner does not come forward in 48 hours than I will choose a new winner and so on and so forth.

Thanks for hosting this contest! :)

My favorite eyeshadow is by a brand called Jesse's Girl. They have the most vibrant, fun colors and it retails for about $3.50.

I label all of my makeup with a sharpie on the day I open it so I dont take chances with something such as eye makeup that should only be used for six months=)

Wow that's really cool of you! I use black eyeshadow with a thin contour brush instead of eyeliner. It goes on smoother, is a little more subtle and it's way cheaper than buying eyeliner all the time!

I love these make-up brushes by EcoTools. They're very affordable and will rival any high end makeup brush.

I used to use Lancome - which I loved - but heard that they made Loreal. So, I switched and it's much cheaper. They just don't have as many colors to choose from:)

I love tinted moisurizer. Gives you a little bit of color, but is also light enough for the steamy summertime!

I have used some of the Rimmel makeup and it is good. It is cheaper than some of the other makeup brands.

Enter me in! I am 27 year old and have never in my life knew how to put make up on. All I use is a lip gloss and occasionally I would ask someone to put it on me.. Pathetic.. Youtube is really awesome and I've learned a lot from it! I can't say I'm a pro now but I'm trying to add colors in my face now and I feel great about it!

Gray eyeshadow is supposed to be popular this year! Also, if you are unsure how to put on eyeshadow, try searching youtube they have amazing videos that show how easy it is!

Thanks for doing the giveaway. I cannot live without concealer (due to dark circles). A technique I just learned from tlc's "what not to wear" is to put a light shimmery powder on the side of your eye near the nose near the lash line. This wakes up the eye. Hope this makes sense. If not consider the source!

skip lipstick! use a lip liner and chapstick instead; it's more natural looking and liner is way cheaper than lipstick . . . .

I like to find colors that compliment my fair skin tone, blue eyes and blonde hair. I really don't care about prices-the cheaper of course, the better. But I want a cosmetic that is going to last and not give me a washed out, tired look by the end of the day. I experiment with different brands, both high end dept. store and drugstore dollar brands. I've had surprises with both-the $30 face cream was nasty while the $5 one did the job much better, etc... Since everyones skin colors/hair & eye combos are different, skin types as well-I know what works well for me, but it might be totally different on someone else. Your best bet is to experiment, and when you find a product that works for you-stick with it.

It's not cheap, but I LOVE the bare essentials (sp?) that Sephora cells. Took me a while to get the true hang of it, but it just feels so good on my skin and applies so well that it's worth every penny.

Contact information is in my profile or blog (mypreciouspennies.blogspot.com)

Thanks for the chance to enter!

A great tip I learned from my SILs (who are super make-up gurus): when your mascara tube is getting dried out/used -up, add a few drops of glycerin to the tube to extend the life of the mascara (glycerin is also a great make-up remover at night and moisturizer.

My only make-up tip is to buy Stila cream blush in Gerbera. It looks good on everyone and makes you look like you've got that fresh pregnancy glow without the weight gain!

Oh where do I begin? Hmm...first of all moisturize before you put foundation on! Secondly, use an eye shadow base! Use a lash curler - why wouldn't you? And lastly - always have some type of lip gloss or lip stick on. Hope that helps - I've got a ton more tips if you want to email me! Thanks!

I love the Estee lauder Lash Primer, which makes the mascara more even when I apply it. It protects my lashes as well from falling and thinning out. The I skip lipstick but use lipgloss instead. I love Beauty Rush Lipglosses from Victoria's Secret.

Lipgloss gives me a more natural look than lipstick.

Buy high quality make up tools!

My best advise is to save room in your purse by applying makeup at home and only carrying the two items most likely to wear off - mascara and lipstick. Also, it's a good idea to keep them in a zipper pocket to save a bigger mess if they were to open or break.
