CVS, My Smile Thanks You This Week!

So here’s the deal I did today (Aug. 31st)

1 Colgate Total Advanced Clean Toothpaste 4 oz. $2.99

2 Covergirl Wetslicks Lipglosses 5.99 each

Coupons Used=

- $1.50 off Total Advance Clean Toothpaste (found in August All You Mag)

-5.99 BOGO Free Any Covergirl Lip product (found in the P&G insert of the 8/31 newspaper)

-5.79 in ECBs – I only had two ECBs in 5.00 increments so I could only use one of my ECB receipts. So my OOP was a tiny bit higher than I wanted. I usually aim for around a dollar OOP or lower.

Total AFTER coupons = 1.69 (plus .67 for taxes) so 2.36 (on my MyPoints gift card of course, so really I had no OOP!)

AND… I made back $2.00 in ECBs for the Colgate and $5.99 in ECBs for the Covergirl.

I love CVS and of course – now my smile does too!

Target Deal Alert

In order to get in on this deal you will need some of the coupons out of the Kellogg’s coupon insert that came in the newspaper a couple of weeks back.

Twitter… Hey did you just call me a bad name?

I was hesitant to try out Twitter for a long time because I did not really understand the point of it or why it would benefit me. I felt like I did not need another computer website to add to my list of "to do’s" everyday but once I found out how it could help my blogging social life (and my overall social life) I haven’t looked back.

Alyssa over at Keeping the Kingdom First wrote a very insightful post called 10 Reasons Why I Love Twitter, that really hit the nail on the head about why Twitter is an essential tool for bloggers (and really anyone who loves to chat and make friends all over the world). So check it out!

Here’s another great post for those of you just starting out with Twitter called Twitter for Dummies. This post really breaks down what Twitter is and how to use it. This post is a good place to start.

Today's Fast Freebie

Click here to order a FREE Smile Makers Catalog with Stickers Inside. They send quite a few, cute stickers. If I remember correctly it is a sampling of a variety of stickers… sort of a mixed bag of what the catalog offers. I remember some cartoon stickers and some reward type stickers. It was very fun!
There are several different types of catalogs to choose from. There is a great catalog for teachers but there is also a catalog that is labeled "great for everyone".
